Teacher Gifts

It's that time of year again and I wanted to give the girls teachers gifts that I know they could use. A few weeks ago Kelly had this post asking for your favorite teacher gifts. I saw this idea and loved it!!

I got the bottles and stickers at Hobby Lobby and I filled them with Pure Vanilla hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. It smells soooo good!!!

We also put a "thank you" card with each one and I wrote notes to the teachers - especially Miss Moehring - telling them how much we appreciated how much they had done for the girls this year.

Inspiration

So my friend Mary was inspired by my blog to start a blog of her own. Say what??!!?? I am sooooo bad at blogging as you can tell by the lack of posts. I really need to get it together and start documenting our lives. Hell - I can't even remember what happened last week, so I'm sure not going to remember it years from now

Setting the mood!!

Today at lunch I went to my favorite store - JC Penney - and got some new running shorts and one of those meshy type shirts. If I'm going to keep up this running, I want to look good while I'm doing it.

And the best part of all is that with the two coupons I had I got both items for $7.56!!!!!

My craziest idea ever!!!!

Yesterday I decided that I want to run in next year's Beach-to-Bay relay marathon!!!

My good friend Darcie and I have been talking about exercising and lack of motivation and this crazy idea came to me. I knew that Randy would do it with us, so I emailed her and asked what she thought. She responded that she would absolutely love to run in it.

So.......last night I started training. It wasn't anything over the top, but it was a start. There's only 401 days left until the race and I've got to start now to be ready.
