Amber had been so excited about starting kindergarten at the "big school" that she talked about it non-stop for weeks. The week before we even went to open house, met her teacher and saw several of her friends. She was just a little social butterfly. Then came the first day of school.
She didn't want to get out of bed, she didn't want to get dressed, she didn't even want breakfast. All she could say in her most pathetic whiney voice was "I'm still tired!!!!".
This is what I got when I asked to take her picture.......

And here's what I found when we should have been leaving for school.......
Zoe on the other hand got up, got dressed, ate breakfast and was ready to go. I guess being in third grade makes you an old pro.

Luckily both girls reported that school was good. Amber even declared it "fun" and said she wanted to back the next day. Whew!!!!
Here she is on the morning of day two. What a difference a day makes!!!!!
